icflix Ties Up with Orange Egypt for Mobile Deal

DUBAI: The streaming service icflix has entered into a strategic partnership with Orange to bring a range of content to mobile customers in Egypt.

Orange Egypt mobile customers will gain access to thousands of hours of unlimited Jazwood (Arabic), Hollywood and Bollywood, movies, TV series, documentaries and children’s entertainment. The service is offering a one-month free trial, after which customers can continue their subscription for EGP 49 per month ($3).

Amine Lalami, the chief commercial officer at icflix, said: “The strategic partnership will offer mobile customers a value-for-money entertainment experience, allowing them to binge-watch TV series or stream their favorite movies on their smartphones, through a simple subscription process. This will give customers the freedom to choose when, where and how they watch their favorite movie or TV series.”

Ashraf Halim, Orange Egypt’s chief commercial officer, added: “Orange is always keen on providing a unique experience to its customers to best meet their needs by reinventing the customer relationship and enriching their daily experience.
