FremantleMedia International Lands Volume Deal in Africa

FremantleMedia International (FMI) has secured an agreement with Econet Media’s pay-TV network Kwesé TV, which will bring such shows as Project Runway: Fashion Startup to viewers in Africa.

The deal consists of more than 300 hours of programming from the FMI catalog. Titles include The Lie Detective, Jo Frost: Nanny on Tour, season one of the U.S. game show Match Game and season 14 of the U.S. version of Family Feud. Kwesé TV subscribers can also enjoy factual programs such as I Am, My Brain and Me, The Cars That Made Us and Soundbreaking from FMI. Kwesé TV also licensed a number of scripted series from FMI for the region, including the supernatural drama series The Returned and the biopic Mary: Making of a Princess.
