Warner Bros. International Television Distribution Ups Tomas Davison

BURBANK: Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD) has promoted Tomas Davison to VP of sales for Latin America and the Caribbean.

In his new role, Davison will continue to manage sales of Warner Bros. television series, theatrical motion pictures, animated product and TV movies for a range of platforms, including free TV, pay TV, basic cable, SVOD and local productions, in Latin America and the Caribbean. Based in Miami, Davison will continue to report to John Garcia, the senior VP and general manager for Latin America at Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.

Davison began his WBITD career in 2004 as a sales manager. For the past eight years, he as served as director of sales for Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to joining WBITD, he was the broadcast creative director for Home Shopping Network (HSN). He has also worked at Cisneros Television Group and Cablevision-TCI, Argentina.

“Tomas has been an essential member of our sales team,” said Jeffrey Schlesinger, the president of Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. “He has a deep knowledge and understanding of the complex and constantly evolving Latin American market, which will enable him to be successful as he takes on more responsibility in this new role.”
