Telemundo Studios Ups Executives in Management Team

MIAMI: Telemundo Studios has promoted two executives within its management team, naming Perla Farias as senior VP of scripted development and Carmen Urbaneja as senior VP of scripted productions.

Farias previously served as VP of novela development at Telemundo. She will now be responsible for the overall development of scripted programming for Telemundo Studios, where she will supervise and manage the scripted development department and lead a team of writers and development executives. Urbaneja has served as VP of novela production at Telemundo Studios. She was executive producer on a number of notable Telemundo series, such as Tierra de reyes and ¿Quién es quién?.

As part of their newly created roles, the executives will report to Luis Silberwasser, the president of Telemundo.
