Sony Pictures TV Alum Angélica Guerra Joins Apple

Angélica Guerra, a former Sony Pictures Television exec, has been hired by Apple as head of Latin American programming for worldwide video.

In her new role, which is effective this month, Guerra will work under Morgan Wandell, the head of international creative development at Apple.

Previously, Guerra was senior VP and managing director of production for Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market at Sony Pictures Television. Before that, she was executive VP of content for Caracol Television. Earlier in her career, she worked for Gentv, Channel 8 in Miami and Tepuy, which is now known as Telemundo International.
