Scripps Hires MD for Latin America

KNOXVILLE: Márcio Fonseca has become the managing director for Latin America at Scripps Networks Interactive.

Fonseca will be responsible for designing and executing the strategies for growth in the region. This includes the launch of Scripps Networks Interactive-branded channels, evaluating joint ventures and other partnerships. He comes to the role from Fox Latin American Channels, where he was the VP of sales strategy and business development. Fonseca is based in Brazil and reports to Jim Samples, the president of international for Scripps Networks Interactive.
