Pair of Creative Super-Panels Set for MIP Cancun 2018

Details have been revealed for two creative super-panels at this year’s MIP Cancun, which is being held in Mexico from November 14 to 16.

Mexico and Spain: Creativity and Production Efficacy Explored will feature Raul Berdonés, the founder and CEO of Spain’s Grupo Secuoya, and Epigmenio Ibarra, the CEO of Mexico’s Argos Comunicación. The execs will share best practices in development, storytelling, talent management and production.

Originals: The Quest for Brand-Defining Content will explore how broadcasters and studios are concentrating more on owning exclusive, original IP. Confirmed speakers are Daniel Burman, head of content for Mediapro in the U.S.; Ignacio Manubens, chief content director at Atresmedia Studios in Spain; and Michele Zatta, commissioning editor at Rai in Italy.

Among other highlights, MIP Cancun 2018 will also include 30 Minutes With, where participants can meet with industry leaders to learn about programming and production needs during a series of intimate sessions.
