Fuse Media Names SVP of Content Strategy

NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES: Fuse Media named Viacom veteran Marc Leonard as its new senior VP of content strategy.

Leonard reports to Fuse Media COO Mike Roggero and is based in the company’s New York offices. In this role, he is responsible for managing the company’s linear programming and its multiplatform scheduling strategies for content across its television channels, websites and new mobile app, as well as on-demand and third-party SVOD.

He will also oversee and direct Fuse Media’s acquisitions efforts, which includes identifying content for the Fuse and FM linear networks from domestic, international, studio and independent sources. In addition, he will collaborate closely with the company’s music and talent department on the development of new and existing music programming.

Prior to joining Fuse Media, Leonard spent 22 years at Viacom Media Networks, most recently as senior vice president, platform strategy for Logo, where he was responsible for programming strategy, content management and acquisitions.
