Conecta FICTION Selects Six Projects for Pitching Session

Conecta FICTION has revealed the six projects selected for its pitching session from the Laboratories of TV Series creation of the SGAE Foundation 2014, 2015 and 2016.

The projects selected for the Conecta FICTION pitching session are The Seers (Apariciones) by David Merino and Antonio Nogales; The Party (El Bloque) by Gabriel Ochoa and Rodrigo Terrasa; Canfranc Station: Forward Escape (El Paso) by David Moreno, Raúl López and Diego Sotelo; Ex Reo by María Mínguez (DLO Productions); Mother in Trouble (Madres en Apuros) by Maribel Vitar and Cristina Pons; and Parallel (Paralelo) by Rodolf Giner. The projects will be presented by their authors on June 21 during the pitching session at Conecta FICTION, which will take place June 20 to 23. The authors will have the opportunity to meet with producers, commissioners and investors who may be interested in co-producing and/or financing the development of the projects.

The pitching session will see the collaboration of Alberto Vázquez, an animation director, illustrator and cartoonist. Vázquez’s books have been published in Spain, France, Italy, Brazil and Korea. He is regularly published as an illustrator in magazines such as El Pais, La Voz de Galicia, Vanity Fair, Communication Arts and The Boston Globe. Vázquez has won three Goya awards.
