LONDON: Mexico’s Azteca has purchased 114 hours worth of TV movies and mini-series from the U.K.’s Power.

The sales consist of 36 titles, including Flood, a disaster drama miniseries—featuring Robert Carlyle and Tom Hardy—about a tidal wave that hits London. Other titles include XIII: The Conspiracy, a thriller starring Val Kilmer; Titanic, a mini-series starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Peter Gallagher; and Merlin, an epic fantasy starring Sam Neill and Helena Bonham Carter; to name a few.

Pepe Echegaray, Power’s sales agent for Latin America, said: "We are proud to have finalized this very significant deal with our friends at Azteca. It demonstrates the continued desire for Power product in Latin America and builds upon our already strong strategic relationship with the broadcaster, one which we cherish and will continue to develop."
