Global Sales for Season Two of Zodiak Kids’ The Ranch

LONDON: Zodiak Kids has lined up several deals for the sophomore season of the animated series The Ranch.

TFO in Canada acquired season two of the series, while AMC Networks International secured the show for Central Europe, where it will air on Minimax. Al Jazeera, meanwhile, picked up the second season for its children’s and family channels. TV5MONDE struck a deal for all French-speaking territories and Kids Zone has the series for the Baltics. Lagardère acquired The Ranch for Gulli in Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Israel. Produced by Zodiak Kids Studios, the second season of The Ranch is comprised of 26 episodes.

The Ranch tells the story of four teens and their horses at the rescue home they built in the heart of the wild French countryside. Season two follows a young girl named Lena and her struggles to hold on to Mistral, the black stallion she saved but doesn’t yet own and that could be taken from her at any moment.

The first season of The Ranch sold into more than 30 territories. Previously announced presales for season two include Neovision (Poland), VRT (Flemish Belgium), TV3 (Spain), SVT (Sweden), YLE (Finland), NRK (Norway), Canal Panda (Portugal) and Just Bridge (DVD in Germany). Zodiak Kids holds worldwide distribution and licensing rights for The Ranch.
