Xilam Places Paprika on Disney Junior LatAm

Xilam has licensed the animated preschool comedy series Paprika to Disney Junior in Latin America for broadcast across the region, including Brazil.

Paprika follows the adventures of twins Olivia and Stan, who is in a wheelchair. The Xilam Animation production was commissioned by France Télévisions and Disney Junior EMEA. The show has also been snapped up by France 5, where it will air in the fall, and Discovery Italy’s K2 and Frisbee channels for broadcast early next year.

Leyla Formoso, the VP of media distribution for Latin America and Iberia at Xilam, commented: “I am confident that Disney Junior’s viewers across Latin America will be captivated by this sweet and fantastic preschool series. We’re thrilled to further strengthen our relationship with Disney and we know that they’ll be the perfect home for Paprika.”
