Pukeko Pictures’ Kiddets, sister series to the animated preschool hit The WotWots, is debuting on CCTV in China.

Two episodes will air on CCTV’s children’s channel daily between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Chinese VOD platform iQiyi will offer each episode on demand the day after its linear premiere. The show will also broadcast consecutively on the satellite and kids’ networks of local TV stations throughout China.

Kiddets is co-produced by Pukeko Pictures and Hengxin Shambala Kids (Guangzhou) Cultural Industry Development. CAKE handles the global distribution rights outside of Australia, New Zealand and Greater China.

“We are incredibly proud of Kiddets, our first Chinese co-production and also a first for the NZ kids’ entertainment business,” said Richard Taylor, co-owner of Pukeko Pictures. “We are delighted that it will have its premiere broadcast on CCTV, which is testament to the successful and ambitious working partnership on the show with our friends and partners, Hengxin Shambala Kids.”
