SAN FRANCISCO: Social video platform Twitch has lined up a 17-day marathon of Saban’s Power Rangers that will span 23 seasons and feature all 831 episodes.

The marathon will kick off on March 14 at 11 a.m. and wrap on March 30. Saban’s Power Rangers joins a growing roster of TV programming that has aired on Twitch, including single episodes of shows such as Silicon Valley (HBO) and Mr. Robot (USA Network), among others.

The marathon will be live streamed on twitch.tv/TwitchPresents, the new home on Twitch for programmatic TV marathons. Viewers who subscribe to the TwitchPresents channel will receive access to exclusive Power Rangers-themed emotes, while streamers will be able to co-stream the marathon. Co-streaming enables streamers to add their own commentary over the video being broadcast.

“Guided by feedback from our community, Twitch has been focusing on content beyond gaming that nurtures the culture around their interests, whether it be anime, art, cooking or pop culture in general,” said Annie Berrones, the product marketing director at Twitch. “As an iconic sci-fi, superhero franchise that achieved legacy status over the past two decades, Power Rangers fits right into our community’s wheelhouse.”
