Thunderbirds Are Go to Debut as Amazon Original in the U.S.

LONDON: A new multiyear deal between Amazon and ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) will see Thunderbirds Are Go launch in the U.S. as an Amazon original kids’ series on Prime Video.

Under the agreement, the first 13 episodes of Thunderbirds Are Go will premiere on Prime Video in the U.S. later this year, followed by launches on Prime Video in the U.K., Germany and Austria. The show, which combines CGI animation and live-action model sets, is based on the iconic 50-year-old property. It is produced by ITV Studios and Pukeko Pictures in collaboration with Weta Workshop, and has been licensed into more than 40 territories.
