Technicolor Animation Productions and Sony Interactive Entertainment have partnered to produce a CGI-animated TV show based on the hit video-game franchise Sly Cooper.

Since launching in 2002, Sly Cooper has sold millions of copies around the globe, with four different editions spanning multiple PlayStation platforms. The story centers on a Robin Hood-esque raccoon named Sly and his animal friends. Sly is being pursued by Inspector Carmelita Fox, who has a crush on the charming bandit.

“As a big fan of the Sly Cooper franchise, we are thrilled to embark on this new adventure with PlayStation,” said Sandrine Nguyen, the managing director of Technicolor Animation Productions. “Sly Cooper’s colorful characters and rich storylines are a perfect fit for television. There is no doubt that teenagers will be happy to rediscover their beloved game as a series, while younger kids will be charmed by the debonair raccoon and his exciting universe.”
