Superights has signed a distribution agreement for the TV, VOD and home video rights to six television specials from indie producer Les Films du Nord.
The deal comprises Wake Up and Dream Again, The Scent of Carrot, The Wind in the Reeds, The Owl’s Jingles, La Fontaine Turns Filmmaker and The Story of Little Paolo. These programs were release theatrically in France and Belgium. They will be presented by Superights at next week’s MIPCOM.
“These six new programs are a perfect fit for broadcasters to create programming events for Christmas or other key moment of the year,” stated Nathalie Pinguet, the deputy general manager of Superights.
Arnaud Demuynck, founder of Les Films du Nord, added: “Our programs are very successful, with great releases in the French-speaking market (France, Belgium, Switzerland) and also in Flemish Belgium, the Netherland and Spain! By signing this distribution agreement with Superights, which is looking forward to promoting our programs in the global market, we hope to reach a wider audience.”
