SUNRIGHTS Gears Up for 2018 Beyblade Burst World Championship

SUNRIGHTS is preparing for the 2018 Beyblade Burst World Championship, which will see young competitors from 24 countries battle it out in Paris.

The 2018 Beyblade Burst World Championship taps into the popularity of the Beyblade Burst animated TV series, spinning tops and other licensed merchandise. The event is organized by SUNRIGHTS and d-rights with support from TOMY Company and Hasbro.

Beyblade Burst National Championship winners have been crowned in 24 countries—Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Estonia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, the U.S. and Vietnam. The competitors are between the ages of 8 and 13. They will move on to the culminating event on November 3.

In France, YouTubers Storm and DracoLight have launched a special series, Mission: Champion du Monde, in which the Beyblade aficionados coach the French National Champion on his way to the Main Event. In addition, social influencers BeybladeGeeks in the U.S. have a monthly series called Rising Champion, offering tips, tricks and World Championship event updates.
