The hit children’s sitcom So Awkward, created by Julie Bower and produced by Channel X North, is set to premiere its 13×30-minute third installment on CBBC in the U.K. next month.

Season three continues the story of three socially awkward friends, Lily, Martha and Jas, as they make their way through secondary school. In 2016, So Awkward was nominated for a BAFTA Children’s Award in the best comedy category. The show has been renewed for a fourth installment.

Jim Reid, Channel X’s director of programs, commented: “We can’t wait for viewers to see what’s in store for the three friends in the third [season]. The audience is growing up with the girls, so I’m sure they will relate to the characters and what they are going through—as they navigate those messy, scary and tricky teenage years!”
