Sinking Ship Entertainment has inked several broadcast deals for titles from its kids’ slate, including Odd Squad.

Following MIPCOM last month, the live-action/CG series Odd Squad was picked up by the BBC, ABC Australia, Discovery Kids Latin America, Gloob in Brazil, SVT in Sweden and Hop in Israel. TRT in Turkey and RTBF Belgium also signed on for the first season of Odd Squad, which is a co-production between Sinking Ship Entertainment and The Fred Rogers Company for PBS and TVO.

In addition, Kidstream, an SVOD service in the U.S., scooped up Imagine Create Media’s preschool series Scout and the Gumboot Kids.

“It’s always a pleasure to announce partnerships like these,” said Kate Sanagan, co-head of sales and distribution at Sinking Ship Entertainment. “Our kids’ programs tend to be unique in that they work for both public and commercial channels, and we love being able to bring entertainment-driven educational shows to kids the world over.”
