SYDNEY: ZooMoo, an interactive preschool channel focused on animals and wildlife, has become the first children’s service to be offered by Australia’s Telstra TV.

ZooMoo features a combination of animal puppet hosts, wildlife footage and narrative techniques that are meant to encourage youngsters to care about the natural world. Tied to the ZooMoo television viewing experience is the ZooMoo application, which is available for download on both Android and iOS devices. The free app includes a variety of games, music, puzzles and more.

David Haslingden, ZooMoo Networks’s founder and CEO, commented: “We are delighted to be expanding our audience in Australia with our great partner Telstra TV. With ZooMoo we are committed to delivering engaging and fun programming content that develops and fosters a love and respect for nature and wildlife in kids, after all they are our greatest custodians.”

Serkan Honeine, Telstra’s director of home media, added: “As the first streaming device in Australia to include all three streaming services—Stan, Presto and Netflix—plus all five free-to-air catch-up apps and movie rentals through BigPond Movies, Telstra TV is the simple way for families to access amazing content. We’re very proud to be expanding our Telstra TV offering with the addition of ZooMoo as it provides a great interactive entertainment option for kids at home.”
