Portfolio Scores Sales for Freaktown, DOKI & More

Portfolio Entertainment has inked new deals for Mack & Moxy, DOKI and Freaktown with broadcasters in a number of territories around the globe.

Niki Kids in the Ukraine snapped up the animated comedy Freaktown, while Ultra Kids in ex-Yugoslavia went for the first two seasons of the animated preschool series DOKI. In the Middle East and North Africa, Discovery Kids and E Junior licensed Mack & Moxy, an animated preschool program. Meanwhile in the U.S., Starz acquired the live-action show Do You Know? for its on-demand and online platforms.

“We’re thrilled to continue growing the success of our tentpole series while bringing fresh, diverse titles to new and existing global partners and audiences,” said Jonathan Abraham, the director of international sales and acquisitions at Portfolio Entertainment.
