Portfolio Sends DOKI & More Worldwide

TORONTO: Portfolio Entertainment has racked up global sales for series from its kids’ catalog, including The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! and DOKI.

National Geographic Channel acquired the first season of DOKI for its kids’ block in the Middle East and North Africa. Studio U7’s Channel Ryzhy in Russia, meanwhile, signed on for the first and second seasons of the animated preschool series. In addition, PlayKids secured the SVOD rights to DOKI for the U.K., Ireland, U.S. and Canada.

PlayKids also picked up season one of the preschool series The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! for its SVOD service in the U.K., Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
