Superights has secured a deal that will see the animated series Pat the Dog air on Disney Channel in the U.S. this summer.

The series follows the adventures of Pat, a little dog who will do anything to save his owner Lola’s day. Pat the Dog was adapted from the international game sensation that has more than 27 million players across the globe. The 78×7-minute comedy launched at MIPJunior last year.

The show is produced by Superprod in Vanilla Seed’s studio in France and Italian company Animoka for Canal+ and RAI. Pat the Dog has already been sold to RTBF, VRT, TSR, Radio-Canada, Discovery Latin America and Turner EMEA and AsiaPac, among others.

“We are extremely proud that Disney Channel will be airing Pat the Dog in the U.S.,” said Morgann Favennec, the deputy managing director of Superights. “Our series is in good company on this esteemed kids’ network.”
