Turner Latin America has appointed Pablo Zuccarino senior VP and general manager for Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Tooncast in the region.

Zuccarino will supervise all aspects of Turner’s children’s brands in Latin America, including programming, digital strategy, marketing, business and operations. He will work under Whit Richardson, Turner Latin America’s president, and is taking over for Barry Koch, who left the company last year.

Zuccarino was hired by Turner in 2004 as part of Cartoon Network Latin America’s digital team. He later transitioned into content and channel management.

Richardson remarked: “Pablo has been a game-changer in the kids’ space since he first joined Turner in 2004. His long-standing ‘fan-first’ approach to our kids’ offerings has played a key role in our ongoing success.”
