UYoung has greenlit a second installment of the animated preschool comedy P. King Duckling, with the show also securing new broadcasters and licensing partners.

P. King Duckling, which follows the adventures of a young duck and his friends, debuted on Disney Junior in the U.S. late last year. The new 52×11-minute season is currently in development and will premiere in China in fall 2018 prior to a worldwide rollout. The show’s first season is headed to Hop TV in Israel, E-vision in UAE and Canal Panda in Spain.

UYoung also appointed two new licensing agents to represent the property, with Biplano on board to handle Southern Europe (France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Croatia) and Tycoon managing Latin America.

Clara Yang, the VP of UYoung, commented: “On the heels of a great first season of P. King Duckling on Disney Junior, UYoung remains committed to bringing quality kids’ content to both the Chinese and international markets. We are delighted to greenlight a second season of P. King Duckling, which will see our adventurous trio embark on even greater comic escapades around the world. Furthermore, we are thrilled to announce this latest raft of distinguished international broadcasters and licensing agents, who are helping P. King spread his wings around the globe.”
