Newen Distribution Sends Loopdidoo to China

PARIS: Chinese kids’ and family entertainment company UYoung has acquired the animated French comedy series Loopdidoo from Newen Distribution.

Produced by Blue Spirit, Loopdidoo is aimed at kids aged 4 to 8. UYoung picked up all five seasons of the series. The show, which also has two TV specials, mixes learning and entertainment. It airs in more than 50 countries, including on Disney Junior in the CEEMA region and Cartoonito in the U.K.

The series follows 5-year-old Petunia, who loves discovering new things and having fun with her dog, Loopdidoo and her neighbor Basil. They have both indoor and outdoor adventures.

Clara Yang, the general manager of UYoung acquisitions and distribution, said, “It is exciting to become the exclusive partner for Loopdidoo. We strongly believe this animation will be welcomed by many viewers across multiple platforms in China.”
