MELBOURNE: Entertainment One (eOne) has secured new licensing deals in Australia for the animated preschool property Peppa Pig.

The agreements cover apparel, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and personal-care products. Hot Springs has signed on to produce a new range of Peppa Pig outerwear and sleepwear for its autumn/winter collection, which will roll out in Big W stores this month. Additionally, Pacific Brands will make a line of branded underwear and socks.

Meanwhile, Beiersdorf, which produces Elastoplast wound-care products, is due to launch Peppa Pig plasters into the Australian market starting in May. eOne is also building on its long-standing relationship with Peppa Pig biscuit partner Park Avenue Foods. The FMCG biscuit and confectionery manufacturer is extending its range to add Peppa Pig dessert treats and ice creams, set to launch in Woolworth supermarkets.

Con Goutzoulas, the commercial director at eOne Licensing Australia, said, “We are delighted to welcome these vibrant new partners to our licensing program. We’re also thrilled to be building on our successful relationship with Park Avenue Foods as we continue our strategic expansion of Peppa Pig into the grocery aisles.”
