Cartoon Network is working with new creators in 2018-19 to tell stories that reflect today’s children for its largest content slate ever.

New creators include Owen Dennis with the magical adventure Infinity Train and Diego Molano with the supernatural comedy Victor and Valentino. These titles join the recently debuted Apple & Onion (George Gendi) as well as the upcoming Craig of the Creek (Matt Burnett, Ben Levin) and Summer Camp Island (Julia Pott).

“It has always been in our DNA to embrace kids for who they are and build relatable worlds, stories and characters for them,” said Christina Miller, the president of Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Boomerang. “This moment is especially exciting because this new wave of talent naturally brings depth and interactivity to their storytelling. It is a perfect match for our audience!”

Shows returning to the channel in 2018-19 are Adventure Time, Ben 10, OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes, Steven Universe, The Amazing World of Gumball, The Powerpuff Girls, Teen Titans Go!, Unikitty! and We Bare Bears. New episodes of Mighty Magiswords and Clarence will also premiere throughout the season.

Meanwhile, Cartoon Network is adding 30-plus new games and apps to its mobile and web portfolio, which has more than 200 million downloads worldwide and now includes a variety of podcasts as well as VR and AR experiences. Digital offerings include Bloons Adventure Time TD, Ben 10 Alien Experience and The Steven Universe Podcast.

“Cartoon Network continues to see growth in time spent on video and gaming platforms as kids are enjoying our content across a vast array of environments,” added Donna Speciale, the president of Turner’s ad sales. “The best way for brands to reach and engage our fans is through a total audience approach that captures all of these relevant spaces.”
