Nelvana Showcases Multiplatform Comedy in Cannes

Nelvana is presenting the animated comedy series Bravest Warriors at MIPTV as the show expands from YouTube and other digital platforms to broadcast television with the upcoming fourth season.

The all-new season of the award-winning series is being produced in association with Frederator Studios for multiple platforms, including linear with complementary digital content. In addition, the entire online catalog of existing Bravest Warriors episodes produced by Frederator Studios is available for license outside of the U.S. Bravest Warriors tells the story of four teenage heroes-for-hire in the year 3085 who warp through the universe to save aliens and their worlds using the power of their emotions.

The show is entering the next phase of production with the broadcast season’s first voice recording session scheduled to take place this month. Produced by Nelvana Limited in Canada, the 52×11-minute fourth season is slated to premiere on TELETOON in fall 2018. The intergalactic series launched on YouTube in November 2012. Bravest Warriors has amassed an online fan base totaling 150 million views, 1.5 million likes and more than a billion minutes watched.
