Nelvana On Board PJ Masks L&M, Live Show Ticket Presales Begin

Entertainment One (eOne) has appointed Nelvana Enterprises as the exclusive licensing and branding agent in Canada for PJ Masks as ticket presales begin for the musical production “PJ Masks Live! Time to Be a Hero!”

The multiyear deal with Nelvana encompasses a cross-category licensing initiative that will feature a broad, mass-market consumer products program based on the preschool series, which airs daily on Disney Junior and La chaîne Disney in Canada. The partnership has already resulted in licensing deals, with Just Play coming on board as global master toy partner, Amscan signing on for party goods, Disguise for Halloween items and Franco Manufacturing for bedding and bath. Other partners include Heys (backpacks, lunch bags, luggage), JCorp (apparel and swimwear), Jellifish (sleepwear) and Simon & Schuster (publishing).

Nelvana is also the exclusive licensing agent in Canada for eOne’s Peppa Pig.

In addition, eOne and Round Room Presents are rolling out “PJ Masks Live! Time to Be a Hero!” The brand-new, fully-immersive musical stage production will begin touring North America in September 2017, with exclusive presale tickets becoming available today at 10 a.m. The general public on-sale begins Friday, May 19, at 10 a.m. The live show will see pajama-clad Catboy, Owlette and Gekko embark on adventures, solving mysteries and learning valuable lessons.

The PJ Masks live show marks a new partnership between the Entertainment One Music and Entertainment One Family teams, as well as with stage show producer and promoter Round Room Presents. The live production will feature familiar and original music, acrobatics and immersive interactivity. The show will tour more than 60 North American cities. These include cities in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Ohio, Illinois, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Kentucky and more across the U.S.
