Musician Josh Homme On Board CBeebies’ Bedtime Stories

Josh Homme, lead singer of the rock band Queens of the Stone Age, has signed on as the next celebrity to read for CBeebies’ daily preschool show Bedtime Stories.

Homme will read Zog, which is penned by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Alex Scheffler. The story is about an accident-prone student attending Madam Dragon’s school, where a mysterious little girl may help him win a golden star. This reading, which is the first of three for Homme, will broadcast on Friday, October 6, at 6:50 p.m.

Other celebrities who have read for CBeebies’ Bedtime Stories include Suranne Jones, Tom Hardy, Chris Evans, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Guy Garvey, Emilia Fox, Damian Lewis, David Tennant, Tim Peake, Nadiya Hussain, Warwick Davis, Maxine Peake, James McAvoy and David Hasselhoff.
