More Numb Chucks for Disney Channels Asia

TORONTO: 9 Story Media Group has licensed the second season of the animated comedy series Numb Chucks to Disney Channels Asia for broadcast in Southeast Asia, South Korea, Japan and the Indian subcontinent.

Numb Chucks follows the wacky adventures of two half-witted woodchuck vigilantes who attempt to use kung fu to protect the citizens of their community. The show is produced by 9 Story Media Group for YTV in Canada, where it first began airing in January 2014. The sophomore season comprises 26 22-minute episodes.

Numb Chucks has also been picked up by Cartoon Network's Boomerang in the U.S., Cartoon Network in Latin America, ABC in Australia, TG4 in Ireland, Canal+ and Family in France, and Super RTL in Germany. In addition, the series was acquired by international Disney Channels in CEE, MEA, Israel and Benelux.
