Cartoon Network has secured additional fashion partners across EMEA for its reboot of The Powerpuff Girls.

The new licensees span high-street to high-end fashion. In Europe, Cartoon Network is partnering with e-tailer Daisy Street, which will launch a ladieswear range featuring T-shirts, jumpers and sweatshirts through its own website, in addition to ASOS, New Look and Zalando. On board for European kidswear are the Spanish fashion label Lefties and Commerciale Campana for a kids’ footwear collection. The new ranges are scheduled to launch from January 2018.

Cartoon Network has also signed a raft of local partners across the EMEA region, targeting both kids and adults. These include CYP Imports (fashion bags) and SunCity (kidswear and accessories) in Iberia, Tvoe in Russia (ladieswear DTR), Cookie in Benelux (kidswear, ladieswear, accessories) and Sahinler in France (kidswear, ladieswear, accessories). In addition, as part of London’s Fashion Week Festival, on Saturday, September 23, Fyodor Golan will showcase its Powerpuff Girls fall/winter 2017 collection during a catwalk event. A Fyodor Golan pop-up store will give consumers the opportunity to purchase items from the range, which is now available worldwide at high-end boutiques and department stores.

Johanne Broadfield, the VP of Cartoon Network Enterprises EMEA, commented, “We believe that The Powerpuff Girls has real potential to become an evergreen fashion brand, thanks to its relevance, broad commercial appeal and strong social credentials. What’s more, the rich and vibrant look of the brand allows us to live up to the growing consumer hype through exciting and highly creative partnerships across every retail tier.”
