LONDON: MoMedia, a digital distributor and content management company, has signed new deals with four popular digital-first children’s entertainment IP brands.

MoMedia will rep the following properties on both local and global transactional EST and SVOD streaming platforms: the Indian YouTube brand ChuChu TV, the 30-channel network Hooplakidz, the language-education platform Badanamu and the Brazilian kids’ music project Lottie Dottie Chicken (Galinha Pintadinha). MoMedia’s digital distribution portfolio already includes such hit brands as Outfit7’s Talking Tom and Friends and Zinkia’s Pocoyo.

Lucas Bertrand, the CEO of MoMedia, said: “Kids’ content is at the forefront of the seismic shifts that are shaking entertainment and media, as we transition into a direct-to-consumer world of distribution and consumption. We realized this when we opted to focus on quality children’s content, and announced our ambition to become the number-one distributor in the digital space. These four new deals indicate that our distribution expertise across multiple platforms, supported by a raft of tried-and-trusted content optimization services, have real value in a market that is shifting shape by the day.”

In separate SVOD/EST agreements, MoMedia signed on for the BAFTA-winning CBBC series Operation Ouch from Serious Lunch, and Creative Media Partners’ Sindbad & The 7 Galaxies. Both series will now be distributed by MoMedia to digital platforms that include iTunes and Google.
