MISTCO Sends Kids’ Shows to China

MISTCO has secured sales in China for several animated series from Turkish children’s channel TRT Çocuk’s library, including Ege and Gaga and Little Lamb.

The animated preschool series Ege and Gaga follows the adventures of a boy and a crow. In each episode, the two friends discover something new and record it in their notebook. Little Lamb, meanwhile, is available in two versions, one with dialogue and one without. MISTCO also inked a deal for Pepee, which tells the story of a family and their young boy who loves to learn.

Aysegul Tuzun, the VP of sales and marketing at MISTCO, said, “We are proud to have entered into the Chinese market, which is hard to penetrate. With the advantage of having the rights to distribute all content of the largest Turkish TV network that includes the most successful kids’ animation series in it, we believe we’ll expand our cooperation soon.”
