Last Kids on Earth Books to Become Netflix Series

Atomic Cartoons has kicked off production on The Last Kids on Earth, a new animated comedy based on Max Brallier’s books that is due to debut on Netflix worldwide next year.

The Last Kids on Earth follows a group of middle-schoolers living in a tree house after a zombie apocalypse. The series is being executive produced by Brallier, Jennifer McCarron, Matthew Berkowitz and Scott Peterson (Phineas and Ferb), who is also showrunner.

Brallier commented: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be teaming with Atomic Cartoons. It is a delight to bring The Last Kids on Earth to life as an animated series. We are all fortunate to have such an incredible partner in Netflix.”
