KI Taps Gaumont Alum for New Kids’ Arm

Nicola Andrews, a former Gaumont Television exec, has been appointed as senior sales and commercial director for the recently announced children’s division at Keshet International (KI).

Based in London, Andrews will report to Keren Shahar, KI’s COO and president of distribution. She will oversee the company’s sales and commercial operations within the kids’ and family genre, including acquisitions, co-productions and worldwide sales. Andrews previously served as VP of distribution at Gaumont Television. She has also worked for Cineflix Rights, BKN New Media, Sony Pictures and Carlton International.

Shahar remarked: “Nicola is joining KI at a very exciting time, as we continue to expand the business and diversify our content. With her unrivaled expertise and excellent relationships, I have no doubt that she is just the person to establish KI as a formidable competitor in the kids’ content market.”

In other news at the company, Kelly Wright, KI’s former head of Latin America and executive advisor for the Asia Pacific, has been elevated to VP of distribution and new business, while Limor Gott Ronen is being upped to VP of marketing and communications.
