NEW YORK: Content creation will be at the center of the upcoming Licensing Expo’s keynote Toys to Content: Where Do We Go From Here?, with executives from Hasbro, Mattel and Jazwares scheduled to take part in the session.

The keynote will be held June 21 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The audience will hear from Simon Waters, the general manager and senior VP of entertainment and consumer products at Hasbro; Susie Lecker, the chief brands officer of the toy box division at Mattel; and Laura Zebersky, the chief commercial officer of Jazwares. The session will be moderated by Marty Brochstein, the senior VP of the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA), which sponsors the expo.

“We’re very excited about this year’s lineup of Licensing University topics and speakers, highlighted by our keynote panel,” said LIMA President Charles Riotto. “Content creation is an increasingly important part of the business of toys and this prominent lineup of speakers will provide invaluable insight into where the industry is, and where it’s headed.”

“We are thrilled to welcome this distinguished group of panelists to address our Licensing Expo audience,” said Jessica Blue, the senior VP of licensing at UBM Americas. “The opening keynote has become a must-attend part of Licensing Expo and a great way to kick off the show.”
