Genius Brands’ SpacePOP Set for Cinematic Debut

Genius Brands International has teamed up with Fathom Events for an exclusive one-night showing of SpacePOP: Not Your Average Princesses in U.S. movie theaters this fall.

Attendees of the September 16 event will see the first-ever feature-length compilation of SpacePOP‘s freshman season; a season-two sneak peek ahead of its YouTube premiere; the debut of all-new music videos; and a special surprise for fans. Each ticket buyer will also receive a copy of the SpacePOP original music soundtrack; a coupon for Spirit Halloween; and discounted tickets to Six Flags’ wintertime celebration Holiday in the Park.

Ticketing dates will be announced soon and will be available online by visiting Fathom Events’ website or at certain theater box offices. Participating theater chains include select AMC, Regal and Cinemark locations.

“In less than a year since the debut of the SpacePOP brand, we have successfully extended the characters and story lines across multiple online and offline channels, including YouTube, SVOD and OTT platforms, iTunes, PopJam, Musical.ly, and at specialty, mid and mass retailers, to touch virtually every aspect of our audience’s lives,” said Stone Newman, the president of global consumer products, worldwide content sales and marketing at Genius Brands. “Releasing SpacePOP on the silver screen is the next frontier to exponentially build upon our fan base.”
