Atlantyca Entertainment has appointed Firefly Brand Management as the North American licensing agent for the Geronimo Stilton classic and animated brands, as well as all of its character spin-offs.

Firefly Brand Management has secured an agreement with Craftstone for worldwide rights that will see the Hong Kong-based company produce a toy line targeting kids aged 4 to 7. The line will include plush, squeezable toys and a Geronimo Stilton-branded pillow featuring an eight-page book inside.

The toys are distributed by New Dimensions. The range will be on shelves in mass market, specialty retail and bookstores as early as March and April 2018.

“We are so excited to partner with Firefly Brand Management and to be working with Cynthia Modders and all of her enthusiastic team,” noted Marco Piccinini, the licensing manager of Atlantyca Entertainment. “This is the ideal time for us to build on Geronimo Stilton’s North American presence and to launch a complete and dedicated licensing and promotional program throughout the U.S. and Canada. We look forward to bringing Geronimo Stilton’s many young fans a whole new selection of products and merchandise in a variety of new and exciting categories!”

“Firefly Brand Management started representing Geronimo Stilton early this year and we are captivated by the amount of interest it is garnering so far, resulting in enabling us to bring this first deal to fruition so quickly,” said Cynthia Modders, the president of Firefly Brand Management. “This reflects the strong and high recognition this marquee brand maintains. With U.S. broadcast partners like Netflix and Amazon coupled with the phenomenal worldwide book sales, we are fast-tracking this for success with the expectation of securing major licensed categories within the forthcoming months. Having Craftstone on board as one of our cornerstone licensees that will take the property out on a global scale is only going to help bring smiles to children all over the world.”
