Disney Gears Up for Mickey and the Roadster Racers

BURBANK: Mickey and the Roadster Racers, a new animated series for kids between the ages of 2 and 7, is due to debut on Disney Channel and Disney Junior early next year.

Mickey and the Roadster Racers follows the car-racing adventures of Mickey Mouse and his friends, including Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Daisy and Donald. The show will make its simulcast TV premiere on Disney Channel and Disney Junior on Sunday, January 15, at 9 a.m. and 9:25 a.m. Two more episodes will debut the following day at the same times on Disney Channel. Episodes will also become available on the Disney Junior app and Disney Junior VOD on January 15, and on iTunes as of January 16.

Mickey and the Roadster Racers comes from the creative team behind Disney Junior’s Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jake and the Neverland Pirates, with Rob LaDuca serving as exec producer and Mark Seidenberg as co-executive producer and supervising story editor. The series is produced by Disney Television Animation. It features the voices of NASCAR’s Jimmie Johnson, Danica Patrick and Jeff Gordon, along with a guest voice cast that includes Jay Leno, Tim Gunn and Gordon Ramsay, among others.
