Details Revealed for Marvel’s New Spider-Man Series


The upcoming animated show Marvel’s Spider-Man is set to launch with an hour-long premiere next month on Disney XD and via the Disney XD app and VOD.

Marvel’s Spider-Man will follow high schooler Peter Parker as he learns what it means to be a superhero in New York City. The series will feature the voices of Robbie Daymond (Bread Winners), Max Mittleman (One-Punch Man), Nadji Jeter (Jessie), Melanie Minichino (Blaze and the Monster Machine), Fred Tatasciore (Marvel’s Avengers Assemble), Laura Bailey (Dragon Ball Z), Nancy Linari (The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest) and Patton Oswalt (Ratatouille), among others. It is due to debut on August 19 at 7 a.m.

In other news, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy animated series is slated to return for a third season, titled Mission Breakout, on Disney XD. In addition, The LEGO Group and Marvel are collaborating on the new 22-minute animated special LEGO Marvel Super Heroes—Guardians of the Galaxy: The Thanos Threat. Further details will be unveiled at a later time.
