Scholastic Entertainment has revealed that its popular book-based property Clifford The Big Red Dog is being reimagined in a brand-new animated series.

Clifford The Big Red Dog follows the adventures of a large canine and his human friend. The reboot will premiere on Amazon Prime Video and PBS Kids in fall 2019. It is being produced by Scholastic Entertainment in association with 100 Chickens and 9 Story/Brown Bag.

Scholastic Entertainment is also developing a global publishing, broadcast and L&M program for the new show. Clifford The Big Red Dog was first introduced in the 1963 book by Norman Bridwell before debuting as an animated program on PBS Kids in 2000. The classic series has aired in more than 100 territories.
