Animasia Studio has revealed that the Chuck Chicken Junior Warriors (CCJW) competition is launching in Southeast Asia and China.

Animasia inked a deal with Sambil Park, which has decades of experience in the mobile theme park business in Malaysia, involving Chuck Chicken‘s character licensing rights for events. The CCJW competition, a multi-stage obstacle course for primary school students, is rolling out in Southeast Asia and China.

The first round will take place in Malaysia in April 2018; it will be an eight-day event with an anticipated 3,000 participants nationwide. Indonesia has been chosen as the contest’s next destination in the region.

Edmund Chan, the managing director of Animasia, commented, “The CCJW competition goes inline with the objectives of our Chuck Chicken brand [in that] it strongly promotes the spirit of teamwork, engaging in fun-filled activities and most of all giving a strong moral boost to all the children that take part in the CCJW competition, where everyone will be a hero after!”

Daniel Wong, the managing director of Sambil Park, noted: “This competition set a platform for kids to shine and build their confidence to challenge the future obstacles. This will fulfill their dream to travel overseas to showcase their talents through an organized event.”

Pak Aji Fauzi, the director of PT. Adhi Kreasi Pratama Komunikasi (AdGlow Communication), added: “With the signing of this MoU, this is a great opportunity to grow together…. We are very pleased to have the opportunity to work with experienced partners in their field. Hopefully in the year 2018 we can realize all the work that has been planned. We are ready to cooperate.”
