Cartoon Network Renews Powerpuff Girls Reboot

LONDON: Cartoon Network has given the go-ahead to a second season of the Emmy-nominated remake of The Powerpuff Girls.

The new Powerpuff Girls debuted in April, with more than 81 million global fans consuming the show across multiple platforms. The series, which is produced by Cartoon Network Studios, received an Emmy nomination this year for outstanding short-form animated program. The property will make its inaugural appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego from July 21 to 24.
