CAKE has signed an agreement to distribute the worldwide rights to the Animation Collective library.
Animation Collective is one of the largest animation studios in New York. The company is behind such hit shows as the Emmy-nominated Kappa Mikey, as well as Three Delivery, Thumb Wrestling Federation: TWF and Ellen’s Acres.
Ed Galton, the CCO and managing director at CAKE, commented: “The Animation Collective library is a great addition to CAKE’s catalog. With prolific characters and original storytelling, these dynamic properties will appeal to a new generation of kids and tweens as well as original fans and anime lovers, and we are looking forward to re-introducing the library to a worldwide audience.”
Larry Schwarz, the CEO of Animation Collective, added: “We’re so excited to be partnering with CAKE to bring the work we’ve done back to viewers and we look forward to being able to continue telling these stories and developing our characters through brand-new episodes and seasons.”
