Boat Rocker Scores New Sales for Ollie! & More

Boat Rocker Rights has inked new deals for more than 200 hours of kids’ and family programming, including the animated series Ollie! The Boy Who Became What He Ate.

Ollie! was snapped up by Universal Kids in the U.S. The show, which promotes healthy eating, debuts today on the NBCU Cable Entertainment network. It is also headed to Discovery MENA, Discovery Asia and Huashi TV in China.

Other new sales include The Curse of Clara, which was licensed by Globosat in Brazil; The Great Northern Candy Drop, picked up by SRC for French Canada; and DOT., which was also acquired by SRC.

Yup Yups was sold to CBeebies in the Middle East and Poland as well as JY Animation in China. JY Animation also went for Stella & Sam, which was additionally snapped up by qubo in the U.S. and M&V Co. in South Korea. The title was also renewed by SVT in Sweden.

In live-action, VRAK acquired the fifth season of the The Next Step for French Canada, while The Next Step Live: The Movie is headed to ABC ME in Australia. Lost & Found Music Studios was licensed to NRK in Norway as well as Disney in Australia and New Zealand.

DIY SCI is headed to AB Groupe in France, DaVinci Learning in CEEMEA and Asia, HSCC in Israel and True Visions in Thailand. And National Geographic International licensed 30 episodes of Super Genius for the Middle East.
