Blue Ant International has expanded its distribution business with a new premium kids’ offering, including the preschool show Teddies, that it will present to international buyers at MIPJunior.

Working with Blue Ant Media’s recently acquired global production businesses NHNZ, Northern Pictures and Beach House Pictures, the distributor is adding more than 200 hours of content for the preschool market and kids aged 6 to 11 to its offering, and all of these titles will be available at MIPJunior. The lineup includes Teddies, produced by Beach House Pictures and Northern Pictures for Okto and Channel 9; ZooMoo’s Wild Friends, from NHNZ for ZooMoo; Creature Mania!, produced by Northern Pictures for ZooMoo; and Most Extreme: Alien Planet Earth, from Northern Pictures for ZooMoo.

Teddies tells the story of four teddy-bear friends living in Teddytown. ZooMoo’s Wild Friends introduces two 7-year-olds and their parents to the natural world using puppetry, animation and wildlife footage. Creature Mania! consists of ten short segments, while Most Extreme: Alien Planet Earth showcases sequences of extreme animal and human behavior.

“MIPJunior marks the launch of our new kids’ and family offering,” said Solange Attwood, the senior VP of Blue Ant International. “We tip our hats to our premium production partners such as NHNZ, Beach House Pictures and Northern Pictures, who have created strong and compelling stories to engage children of all ages. Blue Ant International is honored to join the kids’ community and our team is looking forward to representing titles such as Teddies (45×30 minutes HD) and ZooMoo’s Wild Friends (180×30 minutes HD) to buyers across all platforms worldwide.”
