Beyond Sends Kids’ Programming to Estonia

Beyond Distribution has licensed 100 hours of children’s content to Estonia’s Kids Network TV for its new pay-TV channel Smartzone.

The agreement includes the CBBC shows All Over the Workplace and Junior Vets, as well as Backyard Science, Lab Rats Challenge and Wild But True with Robert Irwin. Smartzone, meant for viewers between the ages of 10 and 16, is slated to launch on December 15 in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Regiina Eelmaa, the managing director at Kids Network TV, said: “Smartzone will offer tailored content for tweens and teenagers with a full spectrum of programming that builds imagination, knowledge, curiosity, vision and critical thinking.”

Zoe Allen, sales executive at Beyond Distribution, added: “We wish the team at Kids Network great success with the new channel and are proud that our kids’ content will form part of their unique programming schedule.”

Smartzone will feature a variety of educational and entertaining factual series from around the globe.
